The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is implementing changes to enhance privacy in the public access of director information. When amendments are filed for directors, personal details such as ID numbers, passport numbers, and addresses will be masked unless the filer is authorized to act on behalf of the company. This measure ensures that sensitive information remains protected while allowing authorised filers to update and correct details as necessary, with the updated information accurately reflected in the output document CoR39.
