What sparked your interest in accounting or finance?
My fascination began in high school during my economics and management sciences class. I loved how financial data told a story about a company's health and future. This interest deepened when I started saving for my first laptop, learning how financial planning and strategic decisions impacted outcomes. It showed me how powerful financial insights could be, driving my passion for the profession.
Can you share some key career milestones or defining moments?
Some of my most defining moments include:
Completing Articles: The open-door culture and mentorship shaped me into the professional I am today.
Passing the APC Exam: This accomplishment reaffirmed my abilities and marked a pivotal moment in my journey to becoming a CA(SA).
Acting as a Junior Audit Manager: In my third year of articles, I was entrusted with managing two assignments, including a listed subsidiary. This opportunity solidified my leadership and technical skills.
What is your role within your company’s finance department?

I love beachfront walks, hiking, playing hockey, bowling with friends, and binge-watching my favourite series. These activities rejuvenate me and provide a much-needed escape from work.
Do you mentor or support other team members in the finance department?
