SARS Launches e@syFile™ Employer Version 8.0
SARS has launched e@syFile™ Employer version 8.0, a redesigned and improved platform for employer tax submissions.
From 1 March 2025, this new version will replace all previous versions, so employers must download and install it in time to get familiar with the updates.

Quick access links allow to navigate between functions without extra clicks.

Stronger security with improved measures to protect sensitive data.
System Requirements
Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher
8GB RAM
2GB available hard drive space (plus additional for employer data growth)
If your system doesn’t meet these requirements, you may need to upgrade your hardware.
Important Reminders
Employers with 50 or fewer employees who can’t upgrade can still submit via eFiling.
Data from the current version must be imported into version 8.0 for amendments.
First-time login requires recovery details to reset the ADMIN password if forgotten.
