The CFO Talks Corruption debate: hear what Angelo Agrizzi has to say

Angelo Agrizzi, former chief operating officer at Bosasa, testifies before the Zondo Commission of inquiry into state capture. He will be talking on Wednesday 15 May 2019 at the CFO Talks Anti-Corruption Debate

Wednesday 15 May 2019, 8:30-am-12:00pm at The Maslow Hotel, Rivonia Road, Sandton

Corruption is a virus that if left unchecked will consume and ravish a previously healthy and functioning society.

The Zondo Commission has blown wide open the extent of corruption and state capture that the South African economy is facing with daily reports of CFOs being investigated, arrested, or placed on leave.

It is time that we do an introspection as to our role in this mess. Are our anti-corruption policies and procedures adequate to inoculate against this virus? What are the root causes of the current crises? Are CFOs too isolated? Is there something missing in our training? Has our changing role as business leaders contributed to the demise of our role as gatekeeper and truth-sayer?

Join the CFO Talks Panel of experts on 15 May 2019 at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton in Johannesburg from 08:30 as we perform an honest assessment of our failure as CFOs to stem the tide of corruption, and seek new ways to renew our pledge to uphold ethics and governance.

Where and when? The Maslow Hotel, Corner Rivonia Rd &, Grayston Dr, Sandton, 8:30am to 12:00pm,
