Value-Able Consulting is a professional services firm, specialising in accounting, tax, business advisory and auditing, for small, medium and large companies. Co-owned and ran by Ndivhuwo Nedoboni and Mulondi Nthulana. The company was started in 2017 to serve new and established businesses and be a one-stop accounting shop. The owners also believe in providing guidance and education to business owners to ensure the success of their businesses.

Director Profile

Nedoboni was born in Shayandima, a town outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo. He completed his BCom in Economics at the University of Venda in 2013, he is currently studying Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Henley Business School. Nedoboni gained experience from a company that served SMMEs and that made him learn and aspire to bring change in the community through a company that he would later start with Nthulana.

Mulondi Nthulana

Nthulana grew up in Muledani, also in Limpopo. After completing high school, he enrolled at the University of Johannesburg for a BCom Accounting degree that he completed in 2014. Currently, Nthulana part of the Chartered Governance Institute of South Africa.

The pair have a wealth of experience from their previous employers like Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo, Finware, PWC and Exxaro.

Value-Able Consulting

As high school friends, Nthulana and Nedoboni discussed the start of Value-Able Consulting. With humble beginnings in an apartment in Centurion to now big modern offices in Sandton and Rustenburg, the pair have seen their vision come to life. Employing 19 staff, with no impact from the pandemic, Nedoboni and Nthulana say there is room for more growth and reaching new heights. The pair aim to provide the services and skills to ensure that clients have access to any service they require. Having a 360-degree accounting offering, the firm have a built-in capacity to focus on the clients’ business goals and work with them to help them achieve their aspirations. A major focus of the firm is to invest time to understanding the clients’ operating environments, which means that their services and advice are on point and add the value that can only come from experienced, professional consultants who have a broad view of a business.

Giving Back and the Youth Month Competition

Value-Able Consulting have always shown support and gotten involved in SAIBA charity events. From donating funds and assisting with the administrative duties at Tshepang Care Centre, training school administrative clerks in the North West and giving out food parcels to the underprivileged in Mashau village, Limpopo.

Giving back to Nedoboni and Nthulana means more than handing out food parcels. Transfer of skills and knowledge to underprivileged business owners that will in the long run improve the life of the recipients. Further to this, the firm launched the Youth Month Competition, offering access to their Incubation programme for small township businesses.

This incubation programme was initiated during youth month and is focused on young people aged between 18-35 who have been running a small business for the last two years.

Nedoboni and Nthulana said that providing skills that aid in business growth is more valuable than just handing out funds without skills on utilising them. The programme will be over 12 months and will identify 20 businesses to incubate.

The outcomes of the incubation include encouraging compliance, financial knowledge, and funding opportunities from relevant departments. Another outcome is to ensure that those 20 businesses produce 40 employment opportunities to their community earning at least the minimum wage of R3 500.
