New Automated Registration System for Co-operatives

CIPC has announced the implementation of a new automated registration system for co-operatives, effective from 25 October 2024. This new eServices automation system aims to streamline the registration process for co-operatives, reducing paperwork and increasing efficiency.

Key Changes:

  • Automated Document Generation: System-generated Co-op1 Form and Constitution will be sent to all members via email for authorisation.

  • OTP Authentication: The new process will use OTP numbers to authenticate member signatures, eliminating the need to upload signature pages.

  • End-to-End Online Process: All steps, from name reservation to complete co-operative registration, must be completed via the new e-services portal.

  • Verification for Foreign Nationals: Foreign nationals must first register with foreign assurance for verification.

Co-operatives can now complete all registration steps via the new e-services portal, improving the speed and accuracy of registrations.

Note: All pending applications must be completed on the current system by 23 October 2024.
