What time do you usually wake up on weekends?
I get up at 5:00 am every morning, embracing the tranquillity of the early hours.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I’m an early bird and love to start my mornings with exercise. This routine gives me energy and clarity for the day ahead.
How do you spend the first hour of your day?
Exercising! It’s the best way for me to set a positive tone for my day and to keep both my mind and body sharp.
What do you enjoy outside of work? Any hobbies or activities that help you recharge?
I recharge by spending quality time with family and being in nature. Both bring me joy and help me stay grounded.
Do you mentor or support other team members in the finance department? How do you help develop the skills of others?
I work in an environment that encourages mentorship and collaboration. I’m always available to support my team and help them grow.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to work in a finance department within a company? What skills or knowledge should they focus on?
Master the basics of accounting and always be open to continuous learning. It’s important to build a strong foundation and keep up with the latest industry knowledge.
What’s your favourite quote or mantra that motivates you?
“Don’t count the days; make the days count.” This motivates me to make the most of each day, whether at work or in my personal life.
Share a leadership lesson or a piece of advice that’s been valuable to you in your career.
There’s always a solution to every problem. Taking the time to think through issues calmly has helped me navigate challenges.
What’s something surprising about you that isn’t in your professional bio? A hobby, interest, or fun fact?
I’m an empath. Although I don’t always show it outwardly, I genuinely care about the well-being of those around me.
If you could have any superpower to help you in your job, what would it be?
I would love a photographic memory—it would be invaluable in my role!
