System Issues for Fidelity Fund Renewals Certificates 2025

Ealy in the new year, the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has experienced a system error affecting the process of issuing Fidelity Fund Certificates (FFCs) and Registration Certificates (RCs) for the 2025 renewal season.

The issue has resulted in some certificates being generated with a start date of 2024 instead of 2025. To prevent further complications, from 6 January 2025 the PPRA started issuing corrected 2025 FFCs, valid from 1 January 2025.

Impact on Property Practitioners

If you received an FFC reflecting a validity period of 2024-2026 instead of the correct 2025-2027 period, this will have to be rectified. The PPRA has assured affected practitioners that these certificates will be corrected and new FFCs will issued in January.

What to Do If You Have Not Received Your 2025 FFC

If you have paid for your 2025 FFC renewal but have not received any communication from the PPRA, it is essential to take the following steps:

  1. Log your query via the PPRA portal for swift assistance.

  2. If necessary, escalate your issue by emailing FFCRenewals@theppra.org.za.
