Complete CIPC’s Sustainability Reporting Survey

Is South Africa ready for mandatory sustainability reporting?

The CIPC has launched a Sustainability Reporting Survey to assess the readiness of South African entities for mandatory sustainability reporting under the Companies Act 71 of 2008. This follows the introduction of IFRS S1 and S2 Sustainability Reporting Standards by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

The survey aims to gather industry insights on reporting practices, challenges, and potential regulations. Accountants, especially those assisting entities with statutory audit requirements, are urged to participate.
