SARS Update: Trust Filing Dates Postponed to September 2024

SARS has announced a change to the Trust filing season:

  • New Opening Dates: Legislative changes now take effect on 13 September 2024, with Trust return submissions starting on 16 September 2024.

  • For This Year Only: This shift is just for 2024. We'll be back to the usual June/July schedule in 2025.

  • No Change for Non-Provisional Beneficiaries: Submission dates remain the same for these beneficiaries. Just keep lines of communication open, as SARS won't pre-populate returns this year.
